Biographical and Professional Information

Betty Pfaff writes of the mines, the people, and the town of Atlantic City, Wyoming, in "Atlantic City Nuggets," when it was thought that a 'gold rush' might develop in that area. It carries one from the time that the first gold 'find' was discovered on the Buckeye Claim to the days of Fisher Dredge remodeled Rock Creek in the search for more of the precious metal. In "A Tale of Two Towns," she and Wanda Sims Vasey and Dorise Marx Housley give a background history of the small town of La Barge, Wyoming, which was originally named Tulsa.
