Biographical and Professional Information

Bruce was born in Powell, Wyoming, and graduated from Dubois, Wyoming, high school in 1965. After graduating from Montana State University with a degree in Mathematics, Bruce went to work as a civilian employee with the National Security Agency in Maryland. The end of the cold war presented an opportunity to take early retirement which Bruce did, moving to the Powell-Cody-Red Lodge area in 1997. Bruce's fun is historic research which has resulted in nine regional history books so far, eight of which involve Wyoming. The "epic" Mapping Wyoming being the latest. Bruce is currently working on the cartography of Yellowstone National Park.
