Biographical and Professional Information

Dick Nelson and his family homesteaded in the Wyoming Territory in 1888. He worked for the Chicago, Burlinton & Quincy Railroad from 1895 to 1939. His papers are held at the University of Wyoming's American Heritage Center, including manuscripts, historical articles and poems.
