Biographical and Professional Information

Edward Bryant was born in New York, but grew up on a cattle ranch between Laramie and Wheatland. He attended the University of Wyoming as a General Motors Scholar, then worked as an artist in residence for the Wyoming Council on the Arts. In 1979 and 1980 he received the Nebula Award of the Science Fiction Writers of America for best short story of the year.
