Biographical and Professional Information

 

Julianne Couch is the author of Jukeboxes & Jackalopes: A Wyoming Bar Journey. Her essays have appeared in publications including High Country News; Owen Wister Review; Heritage of the Great Plains; The Gleaners: Eco-Essays on Re-cyling, Re-Use, and Living Lightly on the Land; Hard Ground: Writing the Rockies; and Ahead of Their Time: Wyoming Voices for the Wilderness. She lives in Laramie and teaches in the English department at UW. She co-hosts the literary radio program “Speaking of Writing,” which airs on Laramie's community radio station.
