Hot Springs County
Retired military with two UW degrees: BS Journalism 1957 and MEd Adult Education 1979. Currently Vice Chair of Hot Springs County Museum and Cultural Center and leading a campaign to honor the county's most famous resident, Colonel Tim McCoy. Published (July 2007) a book of TM's poetry and in August published a DVD update of a 1987 program featuring the Colonel entitled "Col Tim McCoy, The Silent Language of the Plains" or "How to speak Indian Sign language." Subsequent to the DVD, RoundTop Records, llc published a travel log book entitled 'Cowboy Country Camping. A work in progress is a non-fiction look at the Colonel's life in Wyoming with the working title of Col. Tim McCoy: the Man, the Myth and the Memories. Currently Thermopolis Town Council and HS County Commissioner reporter for Independent Record and frequent contributor to Rope Burns, a cowboy gathering periodical.
