"Footprints of Progress" gives a history of the place-names along the now unused Afton-Montpelier road in Star Valley. "Memories from Star Valley" was begun as a Bicentennial project, but blossomed into a collection of more than seventy-five glimpses of life in the early history of the Afton area. It is valuable to those interested in the nuances of Mormon life at the turn of the century. S. Edwin Cazier lived in Afton, Wyoming, at the end of his life.
